Kulukki Sharbat

"Kulukki" means "shaken" and Sharbat means "juice". This famous Kerala drink, is a mix of all natural ingredients. This is a sweet, sour, spice flavored mix mocktail, perfect to beat the heat in Summer. This Sharabat gets it's name because of the way it's prepared. After adding all ingredients, it's "well shaken" before serving and not stirred. The focus is more on shaken hard, rather than stirred.

Presenting for you, a mouthwatering, super quick to prepare Keralite Sharabat "Kulukki Sharbat" from Panda's Kitchen.


 
Ingredients :

  • 2 Lemon 
  • 2 tbsp Basil Seeds - soaked for 5-10 mins 
  • 2 tsp Sugar 
  • 1/2 tsp Salt 
  • 2 Green Chilli - slit them from middle with the top intact 
  • Water 
  • Mint Leaves

Ice cubes

Recipe Details :

✓ Take 2 glass. Add lemon slices.


 ✓ Add Sugar.


✓ Add Salt.


✓ Squeeze half of the lemon and add the juice of lemon to glass.


✓ Add Basil Seeds.


 ✓ Add some ice cubes.


 ✓ Pour water to the glasses keeping some space empty at the top.


 ✓ Add the slitted green chilli and few mint leaves.


✓ Take another glass, place it over the sharbat glass and lock both these glasses. Shake gently and mix the sharbat.


 ✓ Kulukki Sharbat is ready to serve immediately.
