Cheesy Chicken Cutlet

This simple and fast-made delicacy is a favourite of all non-vegetarians of all age groups. 

They are pan-fried and not deep fried, so used very less oil to prepare.
 

Today's Ramzan Special from my kitchen is crispy and tasty "Cheesy Chicken Cutlet"


 Ingredients :
  • 500 gm Minced Chicken (Regular boneless chicken pieces also can be taken and grind coarsely) 
  • 2 boiled Potatoes - grated/smashed 
  • 2 Onion - finely chopped 
  • 7-8 Garlic Cloves - finely Chopped 
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste 
  • 2 tbsp Maida 
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (optional) 
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder 
  • Salt 
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves 
  • Breadcrumbs 
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • Oregano 
  • Chill Flakes

Recipe Details : 

✓ In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil.  Add chopped garlic and onion. Saute nicely until the onion turns translucent.

✓ Add Ginger Garlic Paste. Mix and cook for 2-3 mins in low flame.


✓ To this, add salt, pepper powder, red chilly powder, and turmeric powder. Give everything a good mix.


✓ Add Minced Chicken to the kadai. Mix and cook for around 5 mins in low flame till chicken gets nicely cooked. 


✓ Transfer the Chicken to a bowl. 

✓ To the chicken, add boiled potatoes, chopped Coriander Leaves, around 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs, grated cheese and oregano. Mix Nicely. The chicken mix is ready now. 


✓ Take small portion of the mix and give them the shape of cutlet. Keep them aside. 


✓ In a bowl, take maida, a pinch of salt, 1/4 tsp Pepper Powder, oregano and Chilli flames. Add water little by little to make a thin mix. In another bowl, take some breadcrumbs.



✓ In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil.

✓ Dip the chicken patties in Maida mix and then in breadcrumbs. Repeat the same step twice for each patty. Place them gently on the pan for shallow fry.




✓ Shallow fry the chicken pieces for around 3-4 mins each side until both the sides turns golden brown in color. 

✓ Take them out and serve hot along with your favorite chutney and Ketchup.
