 Ingredients :
  • Fish Fillets - I have used Basa Fish fillets here
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 7-8 Garlic Cloves - finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
For Marination:
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chat Masala

Recipe Details :

✓ Wash the fish fillets Well and transfer to a plate. Using a fork make some random marks.

✓ Make a paste of the ingredients mentioned under marination adding a few drops of water.

✓ Using hand, apply the paste uniformly all over the fish on both the sides of fish.

✓ Cover and keep aside for around 1 hour so that the masala gets nicely marinated to the fish, better to keep in fridge.

✓ Heat 1 tbsp Butter in a pan. Add the chopped garlic to it and saute for 10-15 secs.

✓ On it, put the marinated fish fillets and let it cook for around 5 mins in low flame.

✓ After 5 mins, flip it carefully to the other side using a spatula.

✓ Add 1 tbsp of butter again and give it a toss. Let this side also cook in low flame for 5 mins.

✓ Check both the sides or if needed, cook for 1-2 mins more.

✓ Switch off the flame and take the fish out on a plate.

✓ Apply some lime juice on it and sprinkle oregano.

✓ Serve hot with some salads.
