May it be kid's birthday party snacks or a potluck function, a recipe with a different look catches the attention.
We make many starter varieties using Minced chicken mixed with few other ingredients, like cutlet, seekh kabab etc. But the look of this dish makes it different from others.
"Minced chicken Popsticks" in today's recipe from Panda's Kitchen.
Ingredients :
- 500gm Minced chicken
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Onion - finely chopped
- 2 Green Chillies - finely chopped
- Coriander leaves - finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Besan
- Salt
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- Juice of half Lemon
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Few sticks to make lollipop (flat ice-cream sticks are better)
Recipe Details :
✓ Take all the ingredients in a big bowl and mix everything well using hand.
✓ Grease your palms with oil. Take a small portion of the above mix and give it the desired shape (either flat/round/cylindrical). Insert a stick to this making it a pop. Do the same for all the chicken mix.
✓ Heat oil in a wide bottom Tawa. Place all the sticks on it.
✓ Fry them in low flame. Keep changing the sides and tawa fry them till all the sides turn golden brown in color. Fry both sides for few more minutes if you like it a bit more fried.
✓ Alternatively, grease a baking tray with a little oil. Place the chicken Lollipop sticks on it.. Bake each side at 170° for around 15-20 mins.
✓ Minced Chicken Popsticks are ready to serve hot with some salad and your favorite sauce.
