Peas Pulao | Green Matar Pulao

Today's recipe from Panda's Kitchen is a Winter Delight, though it can be prepared throughout the year. I love Winter the most among all seasons, one of the reason being Winter brings with it a Variety of fresh Vegetables. Green Peas is one of them.

I am not a rice lover personally. But Peas Pulao is one of the flavored rice that I crave any day. Fresh green peas along with long grain Basmati rice and few spices, cooked in a spoonful of Desi ghee... The aroma and taste of this quick one pot meal is undoubtedly the favorite of many, specially in the houses where rice is must at least once in a day.

I personally prefer to prepare Peas Pulao in a cooker. This takes hardly 20 minutes to get ready. Serve with a bowl of any gravy or plain raita, good enough for a complete one-time meal.

  Ingredients :

  • 2 tbsp Ghee (if you love the ghee flavor, take 1 tbsp more)
