Witch Finger Cookies

Halloween is here again. This day marks the end of Summer and beginning of dark, cold Winter. It was believed that the ghosts of the dead come to earth on this day. People set bonfires on hilltops for relighting their hearth fires for the winter and to frighten away evil spirits. They sometimes wore masks and other disguises to avoid being recognized by the ghosts thought to be present.

There's a lot of mysterious and interesting stories related to Halloween Day. But over time, Halloween Day has become all about carving Lanterns, Costumes, gathering and feasting.

✓ Using hands knead it to make a soft and firm dough. Cover the dough and refrigerate for an hour.

✓ Now take small portions from the dough and roll them in cylindrical shape.
