Peanut Dates Ladoo

Does your sweet tooth start nagging after every meal ? 😉 A meal feels incomplete without sweets. 

But to satisfy the sweet cravings and trying to cut carbs at the same time... Seems impossible ?? 

For a healthy Lifestyle, we don't have to always say "No" to sweets. We just need to change the preparation way.. 😉 Occasionally having some healthy sweets will help to satiate the sweet deprivation and and it won't cost to your weight loss journey. 


Today's recipe from my Kitchen is  one of the similar kind, made with just 3 ingredients in 20 mins. It's good for every age of people, may it be a kid or an elderly person. 




 Ingredients :
  • 200gm Peanut 
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery 
  • 10-12 Dates 
  • 2 Cardamoms  
  • 1 tsp Ghee (optional) or 1 tsp Oil

Recipe Details : 

✓ Dry roast the peanut until the color changes little. Don't over-roast them. 


✓ Let it cool down and remove the skin.



✓ Transfer to the mixer jar and grind coarsely.


✓ Add Jaggery and cardamoms to the mixer jar.  Mix and Grind again for few seconds.


✓  Stir and Now keep grinding until peanut releases a little oil and starts being sticky.


✓ Wash the dates and chop them into small pieces.  


✓ In a wok, heat ghee. Add the dates pieces and cook in low flame for 1-2 mins. Soon they'll start to soften. Mash the dates little. 


✓ Add the peanut powder and mix everything well. Don't cook after adding peanut powder.


✓ Turn off the heat and wait for the mixture to cool little. 

✓ Now Take small portions out of it and start shaping it as Ladoos. Press firm to avoid any cracks.


✓ Dates Peanut Ladoo is ready.  They can be stored in air tight container for few days.
