Yes... You guessed it right.. Today's recipe from my kitchen is something similar!!

 Ingredients :
  • 100 gm Mushroom - cut to half 
  • 1 Onion - sliced 
  • 1 Tomato - Sliced 
  • 1 capsicum - sliced 
  • 5-6 Garlic Cloves - finely Chopped 
  • 2 Green Chilly - finely Chopped 
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese/ Cheese blocks 
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup 
  • 2 tbsp Schezwan Sauce (optional) 
  • 1 tbsp Green Chilly Sauce 
  • Salt 
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder 
  • 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder 
  • 2 tbsp Oil  
  • Oregano
  • 2 cup Maida 
  • 1 small cup Warm Milk 
  • 1 tsp Dry Yeast 
  • 1 tsp Sugar 
  • 1/2 tsp Salt 
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Recipe Details : 

✓ In a bowl take warm milk. Add yeast and sugar to it. Mix well and keep it for 5 mins. The yeast will get activated.

 ✓ To this add salt, butter and Maida now. Mix everything nicely. 


  
✓ Add water little by little to prepare a soft and smooth dough. Cover and rest the dough for around 3-4 hours so that the yeast gets activated.


 ✓ Now it's stuffing preparation time. In a kadai, heat 2 tbsp oil. You can use butter in stead.

✓ Add chopped garlic and green chilly. Saute for a min. 


✓ To this add sliced Onion, capsicum, tomato and mushroom. Mix all and cook for 2-3 mins. 


✓ Add salt, pepper powder and red chilly powder. Cook again for 2-3 mins in medium flame until it's 70% cooked. Switch off the flame.

(Note that the stuffing can be prepared using some minced chicken or grated boiled egg also)


✓ Let's prepare the sauce mix now. In a bowl, add tomato ketchup, Chilly Sauce, and Schezwan Sauce together and mix them well. Add 1/4 tsp Chilly Flakes. 

✓ From the dough, make 2 big balls of dough. Now using a roll pin, roll the dough uniformly to make a roti of around 8 inch circle. 

✓ Apply the sauce mix uniformly all over  the roti.

✓ In half of the roti, add around 3 tbsp of stuffings. Put a good amount of grated cheese over it and Sprinkle Oregano.




✓ Fold the other half over it making a folded pizza. Using a fork, Seal the edges properly and make some random marks on it.



Apply some butter or oil on top of it and sprinkle some oregano.  Place these Calzone now on a baking tray. 

✓ Preheat the oven at around 170-180°C and bake the Calzone for around 15-20 mins until they turn golden brown in color.

✓ Hot, beautiful and super tasty Calzone are ready now to serve.
