Banana Pancake

There are very less such recipes which can be used as any course of meal, may it be breakfast, kids tiffin, evening Snacks or dinner and loved by everyone. Being healthy, tasty and easy to make is like "Sone pe Sohaga".
Today's recipe is soft Fluffy and light Banana pancakes.
I prepare it without egg, egg also can be added here. This recipe makes 5 Pancakes.



Ingredients :
  • 1 Big Ripe Banana, cut in few slices 
  • 1 cup Maida 
  • 1/2 cup Atta (it can be prepared with either maida/atta alone, I prefer the mix) 
  • 5-6 tbsp Sugar 
  • 250 ml Milk 
  • 1 tsp Baking powder 
  • Saunf 
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder 
  • 1-2 tbsp ghee to grease the tawa 
  • A pinch of  salt 
  • Honey

Recipe Details :

✓ In a bowl, take Maida, Atta, Baking Powder, salt and Cardamom Powder. Mix all the dry ingredients well.

✓ In a blender, take the banana slices, sugar and milk. Blend it nicely. If you are adding egg, you can add at this step.

✓ Add the blended mixture to bowl 1 and keep mixing it to make a nice batter. If needed add some water to make the batter as of pakora batter consistency. Add the saunf to it. Keep the bowl in rest, covered for 15-20 mins.


✓ Now it's pancakes preparation time.  Heat a tawa, add a little ghee and spread it well.

✓ Take 1 ladle full of batter and spread it on Tawa in a round shape, making it big or small as per your wish.

✓ Add few drops of ghee on it and let one side cook in medium heat until the down side becomes slightly brown in color, you can see fluffy holes coming on the top 😉

✓ Flip the pancake and let other side too cook until that becomes light brown in color.


✓ Take out the pancake from Tawa and serve hot in a plate. Give it a kiss of honey.

✓ Hot Fluffy Soft banana pancakes are ready to grab.
